Support the service planning process at a partnership and departmental level through provision of robust performance data. Provide advice and support for the development of directorate and service improvement plans. Contribute to the development of a performance management framework for Children’s Services, which is outcome focused and meets council and partnership needs. Provide advice and support to services with the development of performance indicators, action plans and risk registers. Provide performance management reports for council services and partnerships as required. Be responsible for the collection and compilation of Scottish Government and other statistical returns and census for education, children’s social work and criminal justice services. Ensure compliance with Statutory Performance Indicator guidance and facilitate Public Performance Reporting arrangements for the council. Develop and ensure compliance with quality assurance processes for key statistical returns and timetables for key statistical returns. Provide analysis of service performance utilising large datasets and robust statistical methods and techniques. Provide infographics and present performance information using appropriate methods. Develop a core information base for the directorates and external partners. Prepare school roll forecasts to inform planning for future demand. Contribute to the implementation of agile, digital and electronic case management systems in social work services. Provide specialist advice to colleagues on all aspects of project management through to successful implementation. Under the direction of the Senior Responsible Officer and Project Advisor, ensure project planning activities are devised, agreed, and delivered upon in a timely manner. Provide technical/commercial advice in all areas of the project in relation to electronic social work case management system (Eclipse). Establish a decision making process which allows for effective decisions to be made in a reasonable time frame. Provide regular progress reports on the performance to the project board, staff, service users and other stakeholders. Establish monitoring arrangements to determine whether planned benefits have been realised. Ensure appropriate project documentation is maintained to successfully manage project(s) including risk register and issue log. Contribute to development of council strategies, policies and procedures in relation to the integration of agile and digital transforming Angus agenda. Voluntary youth work with young people aged 12-18 conforming to policies and procedures as laid down by the MOD, Army and Army Cadet Force (ACF). Promoting local community spirit and develop on our community engagement plan to promote the Army Cadet Force. To Inspire, To Achieve. Held various roles such as Area Staff Officer, Area Commander, Detachment Commander, Company Training Officer. All these roles are about being responsible for leading, supporting and managing cadets and adults mainly across Angus and Dundee. Plan and conduct activities in a safe manner using the safe system of training (SST), coach and mentor cadets and adults.
